Another exercise in geometric design/procrastination. All of the figures above were wrought from one template consisting of nine concentric, successively scaled circles, which were then cut into smaller portions by eight pairs of diametrical lines spaced five degrees apart. Selectively deleting the resulting sections produced varying patterns.

A circle with a diameter equal to the height of the page was then used with cross-lines to determine the page margins, and a circumscribed square with sides equal to the diameter of the circle-figures provided guidelines for spacing (see outlines below).
