Just Add Copy!

Illustrated in Adobe Photoshop CS3 and Illustrator CS3; font: Futura Standard

Say what you will, but I insist that this has been one of my more enjoyable projects in recent memory, with a minimal degree of disagreement from the client. With any luck, the addition of taglines and event titles won't destroy the layout.

I substituted the flag pattern with a modified [RAF] roundel, which preserved the functionality of the former in a more concise manner.

And Now: A World Without Copy

Designed in Adobe Illustrator CS3; font: Rockwell

On the rare occasion when a client is parsimonious, he/she manages to be totally mute. Case point: The "Latino Graduation" flier, where I had to use filler text for every field, something that seldom happens elsewhere in real life.

Anyhow, I thought that the notion of a graduation ceremony geared toward Latinos was best communicated through geometric forms that would suggest upward gradations (hurr hurr). The specific pattern seen here was inspired/lifted from a Peruvian blanket I found on the Internet.
